More meta on s3, bit of s4.
I can't be the only one still hungry for speculation... right? A few of the tumblr users -- whose meta I loved -- have gone dormant. Final Problem said she's reluctantly speculating, but if you're watching her Moran posts, it looks like that's changed. :)
About that missing actor's name [from Empty Hearse] and was his character apprehended -- or not?
And why wasn't he credited? And... and... that elevator button.
(For more, use FP's tag; here's her original LONG intro-meta on Moran .)
Some HLV speculation about something I'd been wondering about, i.e, recreational meta from Three Patch Podcast. Very pleased someone else had thought it through!

SH candy: Meta of s4 and s3.
Were you following the SH Spesh setlock when it got really spoilery?
No, I mean that, there's a point -- circa 30-Jan-15 as well as later -- when that happened. It's possible these were done to fake us out. But they looked like rather major plot spoilers.
Final Problem discussed this item at length here.
And cupidford has a visual compare/contrast to FP's post.
Before setlock, BTW... this always happens. :D

Missing from SH s3.
First, seasonal fan art from JM.
Halloween should mean more candy, but I wasn't able to blog that day. Have some deleted scenes from s3 instead. :D
Do avoid these vids if you haven't yet seen s3, definite spoilers inside!

Frankenstein: NTL encore!
For this week, you can find more encore screenings of the National Theatre Live's Frankenstein. With Benedict and Jonny Lee Miller as, respectively, the Creature or Victor each night.
Possibly longer, but be sure to check!
This may be just in North America, so check your area.
FYI, the show came out in 2011 and will probably not be on DVD. But the NTL has done encore screenings more than once now. So have hope!
Last November one of my Tweeps got to see the show, both versions; see the link for her review. :D

Interviews Martin, Rupert -- Babes' s4 predictions.
Let's talk about Martin. These are all 2014 interviews. Expect s3, Richard III, Fargo, and Gollum. Because all those go together... okay, maybe not.
If you haven't read Martin's Shakespeare invented Gollum interview over at the Telegraph, you should.
Why Martin Freeman Pretended His Wallet was Stolen at His ‘Sherlock’ Audition at BBC America.
Mark Gatiss interviews Martin Freeman at Radio Times.
As for Sherlock s4, remember not to trust what our friendly writer =cough= trolls say, despite things like this at the Telegraph (s3 spoilers in link and title). Wait until we're in setlock.

This may only for the USA -- sorry if that's so! -- but be sure to confirm it first. Go try the links, do.
Because it's been announced on the PBS tumblr and Twitter; also Netflix, Apple TV, Roku, and mobile devices.

Many clever thoughts on s2 and s3.
Speculation on s3 AND s2. So if you haven't seen s3, skip this. Theories by the incomparable Final Problem on tumblr.
These are NOT all one-ep links, so read them at your peril. They will often discuss multiple issues for different episodes.
Down the rabbit hole!

Interview with Benedict at Adelaide Now, April 2014. Some pointing with an award... Smiling with Sam Kassover.
Have you seen Ben really with the dogs yet? No? I'll pull those into another post, I haven't got the full link handy. :/

Metas on His Last Vow.
Oh dear darling tumblr... our source of speculation and...
If you didn't like Vow, here are some others who critique it, such as earlgreytea and marsdaydream.
More crits on specifics, such as the grace cycle about the ----, and
makethemintoshoes covers the ending.
About our villains (from batlock). Yes, plural.

Johnlock series and a meta.
Spoilery.
This won't please all Johnlock fans, but if you're into meta, here's some meta about John Watson's sexuality from ivyblossom. Sexual identity IS complicated.

Some news, some s3 spoilers.
Mark notes that there is no Sherlock without Benedict... adding, I am sorry to say, the sort of comment that Steven would make!
More news on Sherlocked -- the convention planned for venues in the UK and USA. Okay, let's be honest, a tiny bit of news!
But don't blame the messenger[s] as the post was written by Sherlockology. No one has more details as of yet, apparently. o.o
March has come and so I will attempt to keep screening direct spoilers.

Major SPOILERS for s3.
For that to make sense, you need to read this amazing and insightful essay about Sherlock, John, and s3 by acafanmom. Brilliant.
Done that? Okay.
