Cumberbatched on stage, Tweet here.  Isn't Ben lovely in this costume!

Julian Batch.  Because reasons.  Via official movie Twitter account here.

And because I just knew you were missing Mystrade, have a little family-friendly image here via the always fantastic mystradedoodles. 8)

Alone is what I have.  Alone protects me.

Cumberbatched, fan art, and...

Cumberbatched:  Have to pause.  So cuddly.  For English Journal.  Fallen because of [redacted] in The Last Enemy.

MORE Cumberbatched:  This one from Esquire November 2013 is tagged NSFW [not safe for work] so beware!  There's an iTunes link for Esquire UK here.

Sherlock fan art:  Not the Johnlock you're looking for.  When Sherlock's relaxing.  Really the Johnlock you wanted.  From The Woman, a little warning.

Top girl: Olivia Poulet interview [you'll remember her from Blind Banker, yes].

Desperately Sherlocked, eh?

You can tell when we Sherlock fans are desperate for more Sherlock... we pull out our favorite pics and gifs to retweet, reblog, repost...

And also reread fics, rewatch fan vids, re-everything.  We are The Fandom That Waits -- and waits, and waits...

Which is how I can tell that Radio Times is full of Sherlock fans.  They too are doing this.  Cf. 20 life lessons learned from Sherlock, and my source for that picture.  How does Ben manage some of these faces??

Some of my faves are the pics for 10, 11, 12 (naturally), 19, 20, and the opening pic they used, which is from Blind Banker.

Yeah... of course I repost pics too.  8)  Have some Vatican Cameos!!  Or Silly Batch smirking.

Cumberbatch news:  Ben (fanboying) about Harrison Ford.  (They'll be on the new Graham Norton show together -- on this Friday, 11-Oct-13 per the BBC.)  Here's the May 2013 vid for that off Jimmy Fallon's show, thanks to Cumberbatchweb!

Sherlock swag and quizzes.

Radio Times loves us!  They're doing s1 and s2 quizzes.

Quiz One:  A Study in Pink
Quiz Two:  The Blind Banker
Quiz Three:  The Great Game

If you have NOT seen 2012 Sherlock, beware s2 spoilers.

Quiz Four:  Scandal in Belgravia
Quiz Five:  The Hounds of Baskerville
Quiz Six:  The Reichenbach Fall

RT also asks:  What official Sherlock merchandise would YOU like to see?

Here I think perhaps their research has failed them... as RedBubble, deviantArt, etsy, and other sites are already supplying this need for fans.  Being rather weary of the Beeb's slowness on supplying goodies.

The Sheetlock body pillowcase was up for sale not long ago as well -- sorry! it's gone from StorEnvy now, but the tumblr image remains.

That was via the WearSherlock tumblr.  8)  If you can't find the Sherlock DVDs, they have them too!  If you want SH props and swag, that's your source.

Psst!  In case you were wondering, SherLEGO will be voted on come January 2014.  Go fandom!!!

Fan vids and dancing.

Music by Coldplay, crisis and Semtex provided by Moriarty...

"This is your living, Sherlock."

Did you want screen caps from the BBC One trailer?  How about gifs?  Because tumblr has gifs.

Here, the s3 quote is superimposed over s1 and s2 screen caps; warning, probable feels!  Order is Scandal, Study, Baskerville, Study.

I think it's really cool that Team Sherlock likes to send out Tweets, comments, pics -- you name it -- to tease fandom.  Okay, maybe it's just that I enjoy the entertainment factor.  8)  Because I'm a twisted person, eh?

"@SteveLawes: @arwelwjones relaxing on set #sherlock pic.twitter.com/RNi7H3dIMJ" Blast from the recent past!
— Arwel Wyn Jones (@arwelwjones) September 7, 2013

Final Problem also notes that although Ben WANTS the States to get Sherlock simultaneously as the UK, it is not within his power.  See the May 2012 (!) Masterpiece video itself.  It's 47 minutes long, so settle in with a beverage and some snacks.

Herrings versus s3 spoilers.

To celebrate the fact that Team Sherlock is combating setlock for s3 ep1 -- yes, they are! -- here's the short video about filming fake scenes.  I suspect a red herring hunt will be big come s4... and maybe while we await s3.

Third Star and the Britannia award.

Sherlock/Third Star- "And there's no tragedy in that." vid by eTimelordConsultant

Really major feels -- both for TS and Reichenbach.  You have been warned!

Want Third Star?

@SHERLOCKEDBLOG @helenecolin @frenchnavygirl It really does ship to US.. But try Amazon Instant video - more VOD here http://t.co/bBG2F4a1O7
— Third Star (@thisisthirdstar) June 19, 2013

Now you need something funny.  A mix of Reichenbach feels and funny, I promise you.  If that doesn't help, how about a pretty moment of job description from The Hobbit?  Or you could try Benedict's latest masterpiece... at TIFF.  8)

BAFTA LA is having a Benedict party!  Guess who's getting the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year?  Benedict's receiving this 9-November-2013.  WOOT!

BBC America is broadcasting a special of this on 10-November-13 "at 8pm ET as a two-hour special including footage of the Britannia Awards Red Carpet."

Sponsored by She Who Gave Us Otters.

From fan artist RedScharlach's tumblr.  Yes, you know her and her otters! (Vogue's September 2013 article also likens BC to an otter.)

Beware:  spoilers possible for Sherlock s2 and STID!

Baker's Treats... you know it works!  I discovered this through Twitter.  Original post here.

The Hobbit/BBC Sherlock mashup.  Next, a totally unrelated mashup, with birds; it's all your fault, Sherlock, uh, Ben.

STID says BAFTA screwed up.  But STID didn't know what was coming when they got Ben for Star Trek.  Of course, tumblr didn't know either, eh?

Come to think of it, tumblr has... ideas about s3.  ;)

Someone needs to make this a fan vid.  Neutron cream, neutron dance; perfect!

For more, try her Sherlock tag.  Really.  Such as this pizza fan art, which has bits from all eps.

Expect some spoilers in her Benedict Cumberbatch tag, along with LOTS of pics.  8)  There's Cabin Pressure spoilers there too; watch out!

Eye candy, Jerusalem, and Hawking.

First, Stephen Hawking and Benedict Cumberbatch in a very brief video about Hawking.

Cheekbones alert!  Because you know and I know what a great sign that is!  Thanks to virtualloki's tumblr for the pic; Tweeted here.

Alas, we didn't push Alan out of Anglo 2013 Semifinals... but we sure pushed hard.  Whoo-hoo, Cumbercollective!  8)  Ben's score kept going up (reaching 42.55%) although Alan retained his 15% lead.

So that means that Loki =cough= Hiddles will go against Snape.  Make sure to vote in the Anglo 2013 Finals if you want to aid them in their quest.

Everything after the break is some level of spoiler, mostly for s2, maybe s4:

Sponsored by tumblr: Sherlockian moments.

WARNING!  Any links after the s1 eps could possess feels and/or Reichenbach.

Yay for tumblr, particularly the Final Problem's #EverySherlockianFamilyIsSherlockianInItsOwnWay tag!

Do you want to watch SH?  After three episodes.  Not.  Watching Sherlock.  I don't know why I'm doing this to myself.

Cumberbatched:  My aunt's house.  Please don't tell...  I almost forgot.

-- I tried to resist doing any Cumberbatched ones, but I failed; I also missed the guys' versions, sorry!  I aimed for funnies, mostly.

Anglo Semifinals continue; also fan art.

Cumberbatched:  Smiling in gray.  Wavy hair.  Cute from Japan.  Smiling, same outfit and haircut!  With doodle, "Don't kill me Tumblr..."  That smile of his (monochrome).

Sherlocked fan art:  Adorable Sherlock A-Z.  Fan art crossover (oops, JM!) the Pool in Great Game.

Gif of happy Sherlock from Study.

The first collar moment in Baskerville, walking up to the pub.

In the spoiler zone of s2:

Fan art:  Sherlock poster "I may be on the side of--" which will very probably give you feels.

Spectacular fan art by Lasse17, photo set of characters inspired by Scandal.

ETA:  A really smashing list of shows that Ben is in.  Includes trailers.  Thanks, WETA!

P.S.  Please keep voting in the Semifinals at Anglo Fan Favorites for Ben!

Sherlock and minions and...

Fan art:  Minions version, and the better armed minions.  A bit not good, Sherlock.  What your mobile wants:  221B!

Really Cumberbatched:  Ben in Sherlock costume but offscreen.  Sherlock smiles.  Ben dressed as Sherlock but with his own smile.  Suave in the midst of the Cumberswarm (monochrome).

Ben and Martin, in costume and on set, but this is not actually in Scandal; looks like they're discussing notes.

Not really a spoiler here either, looks like Martin and Ben in costume and on set for Baskerville...  except the pic is actually a manip.

Quote from Third Star:  A toast.

Cumberbatch adoration and "the most glorious and elusive society" -- written 25-Oct-12.

Fan vids and Ben's birthday and...

Cumberbatched:  That look, that smile!  Outtake from deareje.  Adorable moment of Ben with added caption.

"Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen by Mat Duke

Epic bromance indeed.  8)  I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles): Sherlock by lotrfan2888

— Hannah (Sherlock) (@hmmSHERLOCK) July 1, 2013

Psst!  Remember, Ben's birthday is Friday 19-July.  If you meant to send him birthday wishes on Happy Birthday Benedict, the deadline's Thursday 18-July.  And that site is open to anyone, you don't need a tumblr account!

Spoiler zone of season 2 and Trek:

If Sherlock was an animated show, using screen caps from A Scandal in Belgravia.

Sherlock BBC | fun!trailer by Katrin Depp... whose vids are marvelous.

STID spoilers in New Star Trek comics...  (I included this because I loved the last line of the io9 article.)

A BBC/Cumberbatch mashup.

When fandoms collide:  Sherlock s2e2 modified with dialog from Cabin Pressure.  If you haven't seen Sherlock series 2, you may want to skip this.

-- Note that I do not consider this very spoilery, as the images don't really tell you what was going on during Baskerville.  But you may disagree if it ruins that CP ep for you!

'Here ya are, Skip. Nice hot cup of coffee.''Agh! It's cold!''Nice cup of coffee.''It's horrible!''Cup of coffee.'#CabinPressure
— Sassmeister Catstiel (@JamMoriarty) April 27, 2012

Pretty pics...

Cumberbatched:  Third Star feels.  The Atlantic on Benedict, Cabin Pressure, and being versatile.  As William Ford in Twelve Years a Slave.

This is just beautiful. #Sherlock pic.twitter.com/gqhSNfNGON

Sherlock pointing and looking lost.  Gorgeous promo shot of Sherlock (no spoilers!) for s2.  Sherlock looking offscreen in Blind Banker.

Fan art:  A bar... and minor Johnlock.  8)  Claylock:  adorable bitty John and Sherlock!

In the spoiler zone -- a mix of s1 and s2 pics of our Silver Fox, Lestrade.

Unlocking s3e3 title!

So on 5-July-13 BBC One did this:

You'll need to watch all three episodes of series 2 - starting with episode 1 tonight at 8:30pm - to unlock the full ep 3 title. #Sherlock
— BBC One (@BBCOne) July 5, 2013

As you can imagine, fans outside the range of BBC television were... distraught.

Radio Times has a little more info on the clues hidden inside the series 2 episodes on British telly.  And Sherlockology has even more clues.  The game ends on 19-July-13, Benedict's birthday.

I have a feeling that once fans hit tumblr that what they know will be shared... but we'll see, won't we?

Tangent: sponsored by tumblr.

All about Sherlock's two brothers, Mycroft and John.

These are s2, remember, so you have just entered the spoiler zone.

Mycroft and John gif set.  John gif telling it how it is.

About Mycroft's Post-Its from The Casebook (definite spoilers!).

Mycroft, Sherlock... and Mark.  I believe that Mycroft is established as having deduced faster than Sherlock in the pictured scene.  Unless having Sherlock send John to confirm Sherlock's deductions counts against that -- and unless the Holmes brothers are keeping track of who's faster, I don't think that counts.

That's from this post.  8)  If you want some s3 comments of a vague but happy-making nature about the Holmes brothers, enjoy!

We do love RF feels, don't we?

More fan art...  Being the Holmes brothers.  Must I spell it out for you?

And if you hadn't seen the poster for the next part of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug... enjoy!  For those who still resist our Cumbercollective, you must obey the STID enlistment poster (via @USSBakerStreet).

Sherlocked:  Sherlock pointing down at the spoiler zone for season 2, etc.
