This is sort of a contamination problem in writing.  Where one person (ACD) influences other authors, who are influenced in their own writing.

Certainly Ellery Queen was a huge fanboy of Sherlock Holmes.  And by that I mean the character Ellery Queen as well as the actual Queen cousins.  (Ellery Queen is complicated.  Sort of.)

Although her annotations for TBC -- do not read if you haven't read that story either! -- are killing me.  I just reread that story myself.

And an apology.  I have been trying quite hard to not post s3 spoilers here.  I hope I'm succeeding.  I know that not everyone could live stream, or use the BBC iPlayer, or is in America right now...

I am sorry for the times I fail on that.

So my blog's almost all s3 right now.  The spoilers will be more blatant presently -- as in not masked.  Because I'm trying to be courteous, but my control's slipping.  I want to quote the eps so bad, I want to post pics.  But I really don't want to ruin anything for others either, you know?

Because either you're awaiting Sherlock s3, or you've seen it and are in hiatus mode right now... remember, we're all in this together, my dears.  xo
