Short, from BC to LOTR. Plus audio candy!

From the Gent festival -- a really neato interview of Benedict.  I enjoyed it.  Hope you do also!

Benedict reading from Moby Dick, from Radio Times.

A fan's thoughts on Benedict Cumberbatch and fandom.  :D

Cumberbatched moment as Sherlock; how to waffle; advanced waffling.

A bit of LOTR art, brought to you by American politics.  (You can read the poster completely straight, mind you, but it's funnier when taken in context of 17-Oct-12.)

Cover illustration of The Hollywood Reporter:  The Hard Road to The Hobbit.  Plus a building that became a poster for The Hobbit!  Thanks to my Tweep Bell for these two!

Two charities: Team BC and Mark's birthday!

By the way, the last Palace to Palace total (that I saw) for Team BC was as follows:

Amount Raised:  £24,434.77

Benedict Cumberbatch:  £14,876.92
Team BC:  £7,115.08
Adam Ackland:  £2,442.77

That was as of 2.05 am 17-October-2012.  Well DONE!

And remember that today is Mark Gatiss's birthday!  Have you wished him happy yet?

Have you seen the birthday project for him?  Do please pass it along far and wide!

Mostly fan vids for rest of October...

It's Tweet diet time, so... fan vids.  I have lots I've been finding.

I have some thoughts about various tidbits I've noticed lately, but I may have to hold them in reserve.

Here's one:  When Sherlock fled in Blind Banker, he was reaching for John -- but either Sherlock realized John was not moving [my first guess], or, as a law-abiding military man, staying put for the oncoming cops.  Possibly both.

So Sherlock ran.  And John got the ASBO.

All season two, and therefore in the spoiler zone!

Today Team BC does Palace to Palace!

Cumberbatched moments:  Cheltenham a week ago.  Ideal boyfriend.  Cheers to your existence.  Do it again, Ben.  Many variations on Benedict Cumberbatch, i.e., a poster of his roles.

Fan shirt -- Cumberbatch/Sherlock.

The Cake at Cheltenham:  what kind and congrats.

If you hadn't seen Benedict's response to the donations for Palace to Palace tomorrow, here it is:
Wow!!. You are all amazing! We couldn't do what we are trying to do on Sunday without this. It's an amazing amount of money to raise for incredibly worthy cause. Adam and I can't thank you enough. We're really impressed and touched as the trust will be. Your generosity is well beyond the call of duty in these cash-strapped times. Onwards and upwards with still more coming in. Thank you thank you thank you! Benedict X
As of tonight, a few hours away from the cycle ride,  here's where they stand:

Goal: £20,000
Raised: £23,616

GO US, go fandom, go Adam and Benedict -- go Team BC!!!

The video of Team BC training is here.

I expect Twitter to be busy in a few minutes, as the UK is waking up and I'm fairly certain the cycling starts in maybe a half hour.  :D  No, really.
