Were you following the SH Spesh setlock when it got really spoilery?
No, I mean that, there's a point -- circa 30-Jan-15 as well as later -- when that happened. It's possible these were done to fake us out. But they looked like rather major plot spoilers.
Final Problem discussed this item at length here.
And cupidford has a visual compare/contrast to FP's post.
Before setlock, BTW... this always happens. :D

Immortal words: "Get to work on that, internet."
And they were written by none other than Benedict Cumberbatch himself.
I kid you not. Go thee and look up his Reddit AMA chat; here's the synopsis at Geekiary. Expect to find plenty of sass and also his trademark intelligence.
Yes, the little picture really says: "Hi Reddit! Ask me... anything...?!? X"
I made the picture extra large so you could read that, but just in case you cannot, it's deliberate. 8)

Holmes Boys fic: Mycroft and Sherlock.
I love this fic series over at SherlockCares. If you read it, you'll see that the writer is very kind to me... :)
This is not slash.
It's family friendly... Anecdote: One day at the doctor's, a little girl asked me to tell her a story -- with my head full of Sherlock, as usual! -- so I condensed #3 for her (she has littler siblings).
No spoilers as such, but ardent fans will notice shout-outs to BBC Sherlock throughout!
The Holmes Boys fic:
I'll add to this, but for when I'm not up to date, the "Holmes Boys" index link is also included above the story titles. These are definitely Sherlock candy, my dears. Do try it!
Pssst! Caption of major win: Sherlock's Binders Full of Women!!!

- Special Room #6
- Not My Area #7
- Christmas — Originally He Wanted To Be a Pirate

Lots on Mycroft; also much fic.
Analysis of Mycroft's accent. I believe that tumblr is also Sherlock candy. Certainly it delighted me.
Stop Calling Sherlock a Sociopath! Thanks, a Psychologist.
Cumberbatched moments: Another hot pic (dressed up and ginger curls) from That Interview of much cute. Casual but shiny Benedict. Fan art: Amazing painting of Benedict (warning, counts as Cumberlust).
Over on tumblr, Project Mofftiss hasn't got any questions yet. Do help them out!
About fan fic legality -- a podcast from the lovely Baker Street Babes. Some flatmate fan fic from SherlockCares -- 221B and the Doctor, and It's an Experiment, Sherlock -- and a caption.
Some Martin Freeman gifs. :)
For those not from the Commonwealth who wondered what a cream tea was in HoB, then Wiki explains. I love scones, mmmm.
Seems to be a lot of Reichenbach in the air lately... John in 221B after the fall.
Here's 13 Instances of Mycroft's caring. :D Which I quite liked. I'm fond of Mycroft. Thoughts on Mycroft in Reichenbach. Plus I'll be Mother.
FYI, that Mycroft tumblr includes fan fic.
A bit of crossover: A Downton Abbey fan discusses Sherlock [from May 2012].
Because you hadn't had enough fan fic, here's Sherlock and John (werevelociraptors).

Projects for the Sherlock writers, and divers other things.
Audio Cumberbatch: Benedict singing a snippet -- thanks to MK Hey (of the Sherlock candy) for letting me know about this! Benedict also reads Silverwing; here's the first clip of that, and a YouTube search for the rest. He does voices.
Cumberbatched moments: Benedict on holiday. A photoset of Benedict wearing a grey suit. Benedict looking very Sherlock and intense. Lovely PBS Batch. Soulful look. Dancing on set of Sherlock.
Arguing with the shippers 'toon: You tell 'em, John! Just ignore Sherlock, I always do. ;P

Visuals, essay of candy, Finals, etc.
A Sherlock/Benedict poster for fangirls everywhere.
Star Trek 2 villain revealed, or, who IS Benedict playing?
If you haven't read enough Benedict interviews yet, @Cumberbatchweb has a big index. For example, his MTV interview about The Hobbit. :)
Cumberbatch moments: a solemn pic of Benedict from Third Star. Quiet Benedict in costume [from another show he's in that I haven't seen and don't yet recognize on sight, sorry]. Gorgeous curly GingerBatch.
To Johnlock... or not? ;) Different opinions about this pic, such as here, also this, and more here. :) Along with the one-upping here which would spawn if you insist.
Season 2 of Sherlock will start in the Philippines 23-July. Yay for them!!
What to do when people say "Sherlock sucks and Benedict Cumberbatch is ugly" [from Benedict's reaction to pushy autograph sellers at Look Back in Anger].
One semi-spoilery pic from Reichenbach; do cover your eyes if you haven't got that far yet!!
A Believe in Sherlock poster. Crossover pic: Who Sherlock really meets at Reichenbach!
Lessons from Sherlock Holmes essay. Really Sherlock Holmes candy of writing and reading.
This is the last full day before the Anglo Fan Finals poll wraps Wednesday: 11am Eastern on 11-July-2012. Have you been voting for Benedict and Martin? Weirdly enough, Martin's lead of about 7.3% is about the same as Benedict's not-a-lead against Tom. Argh!
We love them no matter what. So it all works out. :)

More Sherlockcandy... and a contest.
You see, but do you observe? Sherlockology's got a little competition going. Do go try it out. :)
Last night I foundMy Love Affair with Sherlock. (Link broken as of August 2013.) It is SO COOL. Funny, clever, and full of interesting bits with the Sherlock cast and crew. Definitely Sherlock candy.
Cosplay for houses: 221B.
Rex Stout's detective Nero Wolfe is another possible distraction for Sherlock fans. A&E did a brilliant short series if you haven't seen it.
The picspam is hilarious, in case you haven't read it; see blog's top corner for links. In Baskerville: "Oh come on, Sherlock, own up and take your thumping like a gentleman."
Note from @The_Whip_Hand, including picture of Lara Pulver.
Last, the Sherlock drinking game. Take sips! You must survive to 2013 for season 3, remember.

Transcripts and screen caps.
These are a separate special part of Sherlock candy. We can't all hear what they say, no matter how loud it's turned up -- or they mumble -- and no, I haven't tried subtitles, that would annoy me. Enough to do watching the eps!
S3: Added in 2014. More to come. 8)

Printed fanfic & other candy.
Some folks on Twitter have been requesting more/other fanfics to read. Well, strangely enough, first-generation fans were just as fascinated by Sherlock Holmes and they wrote fanfic too. Including authors of mystery and other genres. Some you might know, such as Mark Twain and Agatha Christie and August Derleth... :)
It is one of the oldest groups of fanfic around, if not the oldest.
I highly recommend The Misadventures of Sherlock Holmes. I love that book. Someone should get on to the heirs of Ellery Queen [and all the others, Agatha Christie and August Derleth included] and see about reissuing it.
My very favorite is Richard Mallett's story about The Great Detective. Unforgettable! <3 And another Twitter user kindly recommended The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes to me. Its introduction is of great interest to Sherlockians. Particularly if you haven't delved elsewhere into the Golden Age of Detection.
If you haven't read Ellery Queen's Challenge to the Reader, you ought to. It's fun. :)
I found the book about Highly Sensitive People through the lovely MoniqueJ, who feels Sherlock is an HSP. I am becoming persuaded, since I've got farther into Chapter One. (Of course this means Moriarty probably is too -- that's a frightening thought!) I don't think Sherlock's really got Asperger's [despite John's half-joke to Lestrade; John was trying to make Greg feel better].
The Modern Misadventures of Sherlock Holmes and the Limits of Rationality. Nice take on his limits.
I'm really certain I haveforgo neglected to bring up the fabulous Ariane DeVere, whose LJ transcripts of the Sherlock DVDS have given me many delighted moments.
More pics coming, some of which is frankly "just looking at Benedict" [natch], like this pic; although this one's got both Benedict and Martin smiling!
Benedict teases people about Sherlock, as does Mark Gatiss via a Q&A. (Don't worry, they're filming Sherlock come 2013, the boys are just messing with you!)
For fans of Andrew Scott, Radio Times just interviewed him. :)
P.S. For more GAD detective recs, see my work blog, AZ Shea, where I do bring up favorite mysteries. :)

Grab bag, including SH convention.
I am sorry not to have posted this before, the brilliant Sherlock The Creepy Guy At Work vid by Dane Cook.
Sherlock's smiles (and his disguises; well done!) from @LadySolitaire83's tumblr.
This poster... oh, one of my favorite Sherlock expressions, subverted! :) Makes me grin every time.
Dear @Amelia221b directed me to Meghan O'Keefe: The Benedict Cumberbatch Situation. All true.
Diane Duane (@dduane) gives us The Starship and the Upstairs Flat. And if having fandoms collide [and talk to each other] wasn't enough, she also has swag for sale if you click past her tumblr.
Didn't weep enough after Reichenbach? Really? Have you listened to just the music? If not, MK Hey discusses TV music, and aboutthe final music used [link broken as of 2013] in Reichenbach, with the Fall as the last embedded Youtube. I bet you can picture every moment while you're listening. Certainly I could.
Through SherlockCares.com, NPR musing on Sherlock Holmes, including our Sherlock. Plus the news that Undershaw's Saved; if you want to help out, check the internal links.
If you haven't grieved enough for John, SherlockCares also has the Will You Do This For Me? BBC Sherlock vid by KatrinDepp. Amazing fan video creator! She does funny stuff too, look for it on Youtube as well as SherlockCares.
So wrong on so many levels:RF poster. :D Via @sherl0ckkk. [Link broken as of 2013] One more poster via @dashera_kun.
And there's gonna be a 2013 Sherlock Holmes convention in Atlanta per the @BakerStBabes.

Links, links, links; oh yes.
Brilliant Sherlock poster from @WorldOfJoeRiggs.
One brief Benedict interview ("slightly bemused").
I've seen this first pic -- it doesn't appeal to me -- but some parts of this Celebitchy interview of Benedict are just a riot. I haven't followed the embedded links yet (give me time). The winning comment is here. :)
A BigDamnGeeks! review about Sherlock. Teaser about Benedict's role in Star Trek 2 in there.
Sherlock posing in Baskerville, a la Byron.
Because I was on the PBS Sherlock website today (great picture there!), I saw this interview with our boys, all of them. I'd missed this before, and it's good. They had Q&A: Benedict Cumberbatch too, oh my. I hope he finds his sweetheart soon. Third Benedict interview through PBS, from The Independent.
From @MrHallowBastion comes another Sherlock poster which I quite like. A pic of Benedict (why ARE you wearing a jacket over a coat?) with a fantastic background wallpaper via @GeniusSherlockH.
A fun blogger who's got addicted to Sherlock [ETA, there are Fictional Character Battles at that blog, which Sherlock tends to win... for some odd reason] and has some pics I hadn't seen

Links despite the 'Net.
Stole the first two of these from SherlockCares.com. :) If you haven't been there yet, it's a very fun site. Such as You Must Know: Benedict Cumberbatch.
You've got to love a review that starts with:
I'm not at all in favor of government regulating television any more than it already does, but, really, someone ought to pass a law demanding that PBS offer more than a paltry three episodes a year of the crazy brilliant "Sherlock" series on "Masterpiece Mystery!"
The #ReplaceSherlockQuotesWithPancake is still going on Twitter: see?
(Poor Twitter, I don't know if it was the Tigers beating the Yankees tonight or what, but it's been going up and down. So I can't harvest links from there so easily; of course, the Interweb's been a bit flaky for hours, so who knows.)
About 12 hours ago, I found this image that @twirliegirly sent to @The_Whip_Hand. :)
A nice pic of Benedict -- it's always nice to persuade tumblr to work when bandwidth's all wonky! -- and then there's always Andrew Scott's BAFTA.

A grab bag: visuals &c.
Some vids from SherlockCares, such as You're Gonna Find Out Who Your True Friends Are, Sherlock -- and did you need something to help you out of the Reichenbach angst? Try this comedy vid.
A Benedict moment from the BAFTAs Sunday. He looks very James Bond. Dapper.
Back in 2010, after I first got bitten by the Sherlock bug, I read up on divers articles, interviews, and reviews. This one really struck me about how life-changing it is to become a big star.
Didn't play the pancake game on Twitter? Here's a collection, and then a tumblr variation. :D
If this fanart (direct link here) doesn't become very popular in many places, I will be very very surprised.
I have got to keep track of this shock blanket. It is perfect. Kudos to @annebakerbooks for two marvelous images.

Major theory candy!
I take it back. I got caught up on the Reichenbach blueprint itself -- huzzah to The Final Problem tumblr, you are mighty! I did not yet get through all of the Theory index. This, trust me, will take you some little time.
Highlights from there today:
Sherlock Flips Everything
The really long game of Moriarty: Did you realize it was this complicated? I didn't! OMG.
Why was it so important Watson believe? Short answer: Staying alive. AKA "Sherlock can be an ass"; also see who called John about Mrs. Hudson?
A good zinger about Sherlock's sentiments.
Also thanks to TFP, news about Moriarty which is not a canon spoiler, however, some current fans may consider it a spoiler for Season/Series 3.

Another clutch of links.
If you hadn't known how Sherlock fandom feels about BAFTA today, here's another glimpse.
After the awards is another thing, however.
From tumblr, John's cycle. :/
Two character vignettes of Sherlock and John from Baskerville.
If you happen to get upset because of the PBS edits shortening Sherlock, The Baker Street Babes address this while offering a list of Scandal cuts. Listen to them, please.
And if you're a Yank like me, give PBS money and tell Congress to reinstate their funding!
And in other news, I caught up on The Final Problem tumblr -- past the Reichenbach blueprint, which, if you still want to know How?!? is your go-to place for Ye Olde Magick Trick a la Sherlock. There be Theories there.
I am glad that our tumblr host has thought about these things. I'd noticed the one gunman at Bart's, who I call Seb Moran, has a bit of Sherlock's looks. I hadn't noticed the possibility of Bizarro!John, however; I'd tried hard to see That Ringer in the Yard, and it was bothering me considerably.
That also tells me something about Sally. First, I know folks who aren't watching the PBS versions are seeing More Scenes, but I was wondering how Sally's dislike by itself jump-started the arrest. "Unbelievable" seemed to have a lot more behind it... because it did.

About that Fine Rat.
There is a picture at MK Hey's blog, which I call the Rikki-Tikki-Tavi picture of Sherlock. It's the final still shot on that post. I love that picture. ("Aren't I clever?" it says.) Tumblr may have made Sherlock into an otter, but I should rather say our Sherlock's a mongoose.
Why?
Because whether or not Moriarty is gone for good, there's always another snake for a mongoose. Maybe not the great Nag, true. The world is full of snakes, full of challenges, full of interest. Even if you have to hunt for it.
Sherlock might not die or languish like Moriarty because of that very reason, don't you think?
Note: This is inspired by my reading Diane Duane's After the Fall. Consider it a letter of comment, if you like. :)
ETA: Hmmm, Benedict expresses his thoughts before BAFTA.

Sherlock Holmes Is Not a Psychopath, Anderson
Coming back to SherlockCares.com. Also, it's got lots of goodies therein. Go visit, do.
Sherlock Holmes Is Not a Psychopath, Anderson
Of course not -- we know that. :D I feel terribly like I could write a great deal just on a few of the lines in that vid.
Sherlock's summoned John. Why? Well, because... That caressing reply that Sherlock makes to John ("There's no hurry") sounds like a purr.
I should thwap Sherlock on a regular basis were I John. I just would. I distinctly recall a friend two decades ago pointing out to me that he wouldn't let my being female stop him if I hit him; it was an antisocial habit of mine instead of saying stuff like "Shut up!" all the time. And strangely enough, I became somewhat less obnoxious after that.
Sherlock mightn't need constant thwapping. But it does seem that his ability to notice other people's reactions as valuable is impaired. Versus just as useful data.
Boundaries. Sherlock has an awful inability to recognize boundaries. It's not just manipulation. I say this with a big half-smile on my face, which is not what you might expect.
Lord, he really is like a thirteen-year-old boy. Not fourteen. Isaac Asimov explains the difference in one of the Black Widower mysteries. At age thirteen, a boy hasn't been pummeled enough, hence he is full of himself and extremely obnoxious. By age fourteen, the boy has annoyed enough people who have taught him to be a little more cautious and [one hopes] less antisocial. If you're wondering, at age twelve the boy will be a little less forward.
I am paraphrasing, but you can actually tell a kid of that age. I remember explaining this to a thirteen-year-old boy that I didn't know -- and his mother. I'd never met them before. I'm not sure which was more thrown, the boy or his mother. It's harder to be sure when you know kids well and their ages; are you observing the behavior because you know, or observing the behavior without prejudice?
I'd be pleased to hear other people's thoughts on this. Recognizing that Asimov was as much a know-it-all as Ellery Queen or Sherlock, it'd be... interesting.
About that video's final piece: Poor John! The look of shock on his face is priceless.
Martin Freeman, you are amazing. Thank you so much.
And Mike: "Yep, he's always like that." Mike must have been a genius.
A clutch of links.
Did you really think I'd run out of links? Of course not. Bite your tongue. ;d
How many millions of Sherlock fans are there? I don't know. Whoever does -- definitively, and not guessing -- must be in some severe shock.
House of Darkly -- bless you! -- has the same idea (suspicion?) I did about the gun, but expresses it far more elegantly and in more detail. A. Darkly, you have no idea how appreciative I am. Truly.
Diane Duane ponders some of the problems Sherlock will face After The Fall. Had you thought of them yet? I hadn't gotten past the bullets, myself.
She's on Twitter as @dduane. If you read about the Black Armbands before now, that's hers too. Diane's one of my favorite authors. =happy=
Also, if you saw this tumblr before Diane's previous post, well, I did not know it was based on Martin showing Benedict tumblr. O symmetry!
It should be frightening that my first play of the "Your Sherlock personality is" quiz got Moriarty. I just cracked up. I'm betting a certain answer is the key. :D But third try got me Sherlock. Second was Mycroft. Hmmm... possibly it's just an algorithm. Ahem.
Ohhh, and here's a lovely explanation of Sherlock -- the show and the phenomenon * -- as well. Go read it. It's not what you think it is, and to the unabashed fan/maven/addict, maybe you knew this in exactly these words already. Maybe... not. Like John with Sherlock, I am fast running out of good superlatives!
ETA: * I.e., that word I try not to use, Cumberbitch, but added here as a keyword; I prefer Cumberladies.

The show... And also Benedict.
Thanks to all the folks I've been meeting through Twitter and blogs who are Sherlockians too. This is so much fun! I love sharing an obsession.
In case you hadn't guessed, yes, I am Sherlocked. :D Aren't you??
A mix of Sherlock links and a few on Benedict Cumberbatch. (You know how New Scotland Yard isn't on the drug squad, but are very keen. Yes, well -- very keen on Benedict. Ahem.)
Benedict Cumberbatch really does have a cool name. :) Despite what he may think. TV Tropes agrees; he even has his own page there. I'm not sure what one must do to get your own TV Tropes page, but that boggles my mind. They've got some great links there.
There is a Benedict Cumberbatch Appreciation Society website. Of course. I found it while hunting quotes for The Great Game. I like reading the quotes en masse. :D
I'm not usually into fanfic, but I asked Google "Sherlock did you save Irene?" and got this: Goodbye, Irene.
I have mixed feelings about the ending of Scandal -- not about Irene.
Broken link:
Den of Geek reviews Reichenbach.
Another website with lots of Sherlock links, SherlockCares.com. I love the caption on this post.
But this, oh, this! Sherlock Holmes Is Not a Psychopath, Anderson I watched it three times in a row, and oh-mi-god, I want to watch it again. The best part is circa 1:12... it's full of wonderful, but I don't remember that bit -- possibly a cut scene, or simply because it's Been So Long! since 2010.
Planet Claire has quotes for all eps. Selected quotes by characters, first time I've seen that. Handy. :]
Discovering Sherlock: The Final Problem. I also posted this same link to Twitter, the evening that Reichenbach Fall aired in the US.
Okay, this is plenty for tonight.
